Oshkosh, Wisconsin, July 23rd, 2018:Viking Air Limited of Victoria, British Columbia has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Aircraft Technical Publishers (ATP) of Brisbane, California for the digital conversion and distribution of all technical publications for the entire fleet of Viking aircraft.
As the OEM for the legacy de Havilland fleet (DHC-1 through DHC-7) and Canadair CL-215, CL-215T, and CL-415 aerial firefighters, Viking recognized modernizing and optimizing delivery of technical publications was key to providing global customer support services to a diverse group of aircraft operators.
The digital technical publication services provided by ATP will enable operators of Viking aircraft to gain web-based access to technical publications and tablet-based flight and operation manuals, in addition to the continued provision of paper-based publications.
“The increased delivery response rates, simplified business process, and improved document management derived from digital publications will streamline services and reduce management efforts,” commented Gregory Davis, Viking’s vice president Customer Service and Product Support. “This initiative is another major step in honoring our commitment to providing world-class support to our customers.”
