CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — The Coast Guard rescued four mariners who became stranded near Port Mansfield, Texas, Thursday evening.
Sector/Air Station Corpus Christi watchstanders received a report from an employee of Tow Boat U.S. that four mariners had become stranded on their vessel near the Port Mansfield jetties due to high winds and seas.
A Sector/Air Station Corpus Christi MH-65 Dolphin helicopter aircrew arrived on scene, hoisted all four crewmembers and transferred them to Port Mansfield airport.
There were no reported injuries.
